My processes are about experimentation, trying to use methods in unorthodox ways to create interesting form. I am a blue collar artist, my work is labor intensive, precise and meticulous when fabricating. This side of my work reflects my appreciation for geometric form. In contrast I also create sculpture that is an expression of an unhindered discharge of thoughts, ideas, or elements that I create into three dimensional forms using casting, fabrication, and other methods.

I am currently working towards achieving a BFA in Fine Arts Sculpture from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. I grew up and currently live in Northern California. I have worked full-time as an artist assistant since 2008, fabricating small and large scale sculpture.  I am also an accomplished metal Sculptor, expert Welder, and Studio Artist. My mechanical and industrial background in welding and fabrication has aided my ability to design, discover new experimental methods, and problem solve.
